Signed up to the Ropetown forum during lunch today at work, curious to see what y'all were up too. Imagine my supprise when I see the confirmation email come from webmaster@gunslingers.org. I did a doubletake ... hey, I remember that name! In fact ... I still remember the bruise on my on arse ... Did some browsing around and sure enough, found this: http://www.gunslingers.org/html/ammo.html http://www.gunslingers.org/html/ammo2.html I would be [AMMO]Kermit. So who all from the old Quake days is playing WoW now? |

I think we have the demo somewhere lying around... .If I'm not mistaken it was a CTF1 match and I had a LOT of boomstick kills. Man, those were the good old days. Anyways, nice to see ya! |

LOL! Awesome. I still have a copy of that demo, was myself, Bodybag, Toyman and Stormalong vs. Nesus, Strahd, Fixy and Dung. Another bloody beating as I recall. Our quake gaming days came to a grinding halt shortly after that LAN event as we all started to get married / buy houses / have kids. Would be great to hook up with y'all in game for some PvP and such. Playing a lvl 60 druid, I'll make a point of saying hi in WoW. Still in the GTA area? I moved down to Bermuda a few years ago with my wife & daughters ... weather beats the heck out of Ontario, but lord do I miss broadband when gaming! |
